Welcome to our church website!

           
Each and every day I marvel at the things God does for us. I know that we all struggle from time to time, but that is where this church enters the picture. At Amazing Grace Community Church we are striving to serve those around us. And it is AMAZING!   We welcome everyone into our church family. Once here, you will quickly notice a lack of church politics; you may also notice a lack of church committees. But what you will not find is a lack of love for each other, the church, the community and God. Some of our congregation may become involved in local mission work; others enjoy the company of this family.  Still others will launch out into areas of service that are yet to be identified.  Every member has a voice and a hand in the work that goes on at Amazing Grace.

           
As pastor of this church, you will soon come to learn that the church family is very special to me. Having been raised in the Methodist tradition, I will share the many historic beliefs that John Wesley taught the early Methodists. Previously, I was the Associate Minister of Older adult Ministry at a church in Lakewood. The lessons I learned regarding the importance of all persons, regardless of age, will be passed on to each of you. We will see this church grow and prosper through our members. My job will be to facilitate, encourage and enable each of you to follow the words of the Lord.

           
My wife, Tammy, and I have been married over 35 years. Our two children, spouses and five grandchildren all live in this area. God has given me many gifts in my life: my wife, my children, my health, and now this wonderful congregation. Tammy and I look forward to meeting you. As we grow, your church will begin to offer many more opportunities for increased faith development. I look forward to our journey along this pathway of faith. Please, come and worship with us this Sunday!
