Welcome!

At Amazing Grace Community Church, we want you to feel at home and a part of something special.  It is our purpose to help you feel a sense of belonging and vitality.  With that in mind, this page serves as a place to begin by identifying ways in which you can become acquainted with us.  Listed below are 4 options for you to explore.  Search through the site to learn of other opportunities to join us.  Continually check on current activities and choose an event that appeals to you.  We welcome you to participate however you feel drawn.

1. Worship With Us

On Sunday, AGCC offers a Family Worship Service at 9:30AM.  Our services are traditional in style, laced with a generous offering of music, scriptures and a message.  Your children are welcomed and encouraged to attend, but there also is a child’s activity room at the rear of the sanctuary for the restless ones.  Come, experience our worship, and get to know the people of AGCC.

2. Join a Small Group

We have several dynamic Small Group Ministry programs, with more offerings coming in the future.   Most groups meet weekly to share and encourage one another or work on Mission Projects (like Hearts and Hands for God, a quilt ministry).  It is a great time to talk openly and honestly about the joys and struggles of life and share insight.  Getting started in a small group is a snap; just indicate your desire to the Dream Team for more information or just show up! If you have a particular area of interest, contact Pastor Kent or fill out a “Dream Team” questionnaire (available every week or one can be mailed to you).

3. Participate in Sunday School

We offer a Children’s Sunday School at 9:00Am on Sunday Morning.  Your children will be taken to our Family Worship at the appropriate time.
This is also a great time for the adults to share time in fellowship in the lounge.
Starting soon, we will be offering Adult Sunday School and Bible Studies.  Each year we offer an Advent Study and a Lenten Study for adults.   Watch for more information on upcoming offerings

4.  Attend a Membership Class

Quarterly (or more often if needed), the Senior Pastor conducts an informative session for those considering membership at AGCC.  These 3 classes (lasting 2 hours each), allow the opportunity for you to ask questions and achieve a good understanding of the ministries, activities and programs offered at AGCC, as well as the Free Methodist beliefs.  Attending helps you make an informative decision regarding the important matter of membership by explaining what is meant when you take a vow to honor and praise God by committing your "time, prayers, talents and treasures".

Announcements of upcoming Membership classes are on our web page.  You can express your interest to attend by checking the box "Desire Membership" on the attendance sheet during worship and you will be contacted.  Or contact a Pastor about your interest and you'll be informed of dates when Membership classes are scheduled.
