Worship means "worthship". As Christians, we place the highest value on God and we're united in one belief that God is the center.
Worship, when we experience it at its best, is our major privilege in the church. Without it, every other part of our church life, such as education, service and fellowship, lose their meaning and significance.
Worship is the most creative experience in our lives. It feeds the mind and opens the heart, allowing us to be humbled and gain insight to God's purpose. There is nothing that can take the place of sincerity of heart when we approach God in worship.
If worship is to be meaningful to us, we must prepare our minds and hearts before entering church with deep awareness that God is the greatest importance and he is present with us.
The worship services at Amazing Grace Community Church are intentional opportunities to unite with others who desire to explore the beauty of God and connect with him. During worship, we declare God to be holy, mighty and good, which allows a sense of his greatness and purity to come to us. Then, we begin to see ourselves in the light of truth. As we confess in prayer, we are forgiven and cleansed. We celebrate in Thanksgiving for our renewal and are now ready to listen as God speaks to us and reveals himself. With these events of worship, we feel renewed dedication of our lives.
